Practising in family law for her entire career, Sarah Watts has over 15 years of experience assisting married couples, unmarried couples, and families in their legal disputes. As Senior Chartered Legal Executive at the high-profile firm, she oversees a range of matters, including divorce, separation, cohabitee disputes, financial issues and cases relating to children. She is particularly skilled in handling complex financial cases, including those of high net worth, with expertise in pensions and how best to split these, particularly public sector pensions and Armed Forces schemes. Sarah also has a keen interest in children law and can deal with cases varying in complexity, involving child arrangement disputes, removal from the jurisdiction and change of residence, as well as matters related to allegations of domestic abuse in the home. She is also able to offer advice and representation concerning non-molestation and occupation orders and has worked with domestic abuse charities. Sarah is regularly instructed in relationship agreements, including pre-nuptial agreements and cohabitation agreements. A member of Resolution, she adopts a constructive and non-confrontational approach in family disputes, aiming to resolve matters out of court. If court proceedings are required, she undertakes much of her own advocacy in local courts in Hampshire, Surrey and Berkshire.
